Eligibility to Bid

  • Only registered and verified members can participate in auctions.

Bidding Process

  • Auctions are conducted online on the ExquisVin platform.

  • Members place bids on available lots during the 2 weeks auction period.

  • Bids are binding and cannot be retracted once placed.

Starting Price

  • Each auction lot begins at a minimum reserve price set by ExquisVin.

  • The owner of the bottle will receive the reserve price upon sale, and the platform retains the difference between the final bid and the owner minimum amount to reverse an amount to charity.

Bid Increments

  • Bids must follow a predefined increment structure, which varies depending on the value of the lot.

  • Minimum bid increments will be clearly displayed for each lot.

Auction Timing

  • Each auction will have a scheduled start and end time. Usually two weeks.

  • Auctions follow a strict timer, and bids placed at the last moment will not extend the auction time.

Winning Bidder

  • The highest valid bid at the close of the auction wins the lot.

  • Winning bidders are notified via email immediately after the auction closes.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment must be made within 48 hours of the auction conclusion.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit card.

  • Failure to pay within the allotted time may result in account suspension and forfeiture of the winning bid.

Shipping and Handling

  • The buyer is responsible for shipping fees and insurance.

  • ExquisVin will coordinate with buyers to arrange secure shipment directly from the owner cellar.

Returns and Claims

  • All sales are final, no returns or exchanges are permitted.

  • If a buyer receives an incorrect or damaged item, claims must be filed within 5 business days of delivery.

Confidentiality and Anonymity

  • Bidders identities remain confidential during the auction.

  • Auction results, including the final bid amounts, will be public, but bidder identities will not be disclosed without approval.

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from the auction process must be resolved through ExquisVin internal arbitration process.

  • ExquisVin reserves the right to suspend or ban users for violations of these rules.
